NYMI Band and RFID Readers for GMP Service
Systec Solutios offer a comprehensive range of NYMI Band Readers and RFID readers designed for GMP Cleanroom service to allow users sing and log in throughout your cleanroom productions facility. We offer several solutions for these readers to be fully integrated into our HMI screens or keyboards or retrofitted to existing installations by way of HMI mounted readers, Flush Mount or tablet designs. All our readers are manufactured of the highest spec materials to IP65 and are of an easy to clean form factor.
NYMI
NYMI offer an end to end Biometric Solutions that can be used for secure physical access, digital access and e signature. The key components of the solutions are the
- NYMI Band which is the wearable band  issued to each system user, this is biometrically paired with user one time and requires biometric authentication each time it is worn to provide secure user credentials when required by way of a reader tap. This is ideal in GMP Cleanrooms as the user would authenticate the band during gown up and wear the band under PPE, user would then tap cleanroom grade Systec Solutions NYMI reader for log in or MES Signature.
- NYMI Band App this is a Windows application to manage the employee enrolment and pairing with NYMI Band.
- NYMI Enterprise Server data base and components that link enterprise application such as MES, ERP, LIMS, PLC, DCS etc with enterprise identity eco system
The NYMI Solution adds value through Network security, Signature Integrity, efficiency and UX. A simple wave of the band towards reader replaces user name and password log in or signature, particularly helpful in MES applications where signature counts can run to hundreds per shift.

RFID Emulating Bands
We look forward to the introduction to market of several manufacturers of wearable RFID bands with Biometric activation. These bands are relatively simple to deploy and can be described as a wearable RFID band that only becomes active when authenticated biometrically with intended user, once activated the band acts like an RFID and therefore can leverage existing RFID enrolment, RFID readers and RFID IT functionality found in Active Directory, Adobe, Thin Manager and others. On body detection deactivates the band when removed rendering the band inert until re authenticated by paired user.
This solution offers significant security, integrity advantages over conventional access control, log on and e signature solutions while offering significant efficiency advantages over user name and password management and user name password entry.
